High Sierra Timber Management LLC (HSTM) takes pride in their dedication to promoting the health and safety of county, state, and national forest lands. By utilizing new technology and ethical thinning practices, HSTM is committed to improving the health of these lands. Since 2013, HSTM has been a prime contractor specializing in medium to large scale forest thinning contracts. HSTM has completed contracts worth over 8.5 million dollars with the Forest Service, Cal-Fire, Sierra Pacific Industries, and other private contractors throughout the state. They have the necessary equipment and experience to perform a variety of contract tasks, including Mechanical Thinning/Masticating, Mechanical Chipping, Site Prep, Dozer Pilling, Dozer Ripping, Oversized Hand Falling, Hand Thinning, High Lead Yarding, Right Of Way Clearing, Small and Large Scale Logging Operations, Road Building and Maintenance, Brush Piling, Lop and Scattering.
